The case of the bruised ribs.... AKA Dancing Baby.

So for those of you who have never experienced the joys of pregnancy.... let me enlighten you. There are many things that I love about being pregnant... some things like:

-Feeling the Baby Move (MY favorite!)
-Watching my belly shake when he moves (Dave's Favorite)
-Talking to no one, but knowing that Someone IS listening (ok... I love this too)
-Watching my belly grow, and knowing that the bigger I get, the sooner it will be OVER
-Getting to buy new clothes :)
-Getting to spend extra money on baby stuff... Now I get to eat AND shop for 2 :)

There are things about being pregnant however that I would have gladly dealt without. Such as:

-Morning Sickness
-cravings that made my husband sick to his stomach (Tunafish... LOTS of Tuna Fish)
............. oh... and Mexican food... but I liked that one.....
-waking up in the middle of the night thinking you bladder would explode because the baby is sitting on it. And YES I know he did it on purpose. It was invading his space.
-Hiccups. not me... the baby. The First time it was cute..... now it just keeps me awake all night long.
-And the newest complaint... Bruised Ribs. I swear that this kid has kicked me so hard that my lower ribs are BRUISED. I can't move without them hurting. He keeps kicking me in the EXACT smae spot every time too....

So... I have a bouncing Dancing baby in my belly. Who's next? :)

Life Changes...

Well... Since I haven't updated in so long, I am sure everyone is wondering "WHERE ARE YOU"...

it's funny how life can change very quickly

For those of you who don't know, my husband was going to Special Forces Selection to try to become a Green Beret. While there, he suffered some un-expected medical problems. (Ie: Seizure, Heat exhaustion ect...) He was hospitalized for a few days and has had some pretty moderate memory loss. I was out of work for a week while I was with him at Ft. Bragg NC. (Thank Goodness for PAID emergency leave through the army!)

He is home now and doing much better. He has a lot of missing pieces from the last 3-5 years. I won't get to involved, but his memory is returning slowly. They are still unsure of the cause of his problems, and are planning on runnning all kinds of tests again. He is staying positive, Optomistic, and keeping a good sense of humor. So That was my week. :)

Our Trip to Oregon the begining of the month was BEAUTIFUL (Of course... he doesn't remember it. :( ) We got a ton of baby stuff, and the room is starting to look like a nursery now. My Family loved David and he really liked the area. Hopefully we can get back there after the baby is born.

Baby is doing well. All of our pre-natal tests came back negative. No Cycstic Fibrosis, Down Syndrome, or any other problems. He is a big beautiful and healthy baby so far. They measured him by Ultrasound Friday. He is almost 13 inches long and weighs about a pound. He has David's nose, and My Chin.... Poor thing. LOL

Well.. I have to run for now. Will be scanning the Ultrasound pics in tonight hopefully. As long as I get my Calculus Homework done!
