VACATION!!!

So I am on my way to BEAUTIFUL

Oregon....

Ok... so it's not the Bahama's, or the French Riviera... but it will be a mental break from all of the BS at work, as well as a chance for me to relax and be pampered by my mom and the rest of my extended family. *except they already have me booked to cook dinner.... *

I will be in this small town called St. Helens Oregon. Most of you automatically think of the mountain in Washington State... well it's close. Just on the Oregon Side of the Columbia River. 30 Miles due south of the mountain. Nice, small quiet town. We are planning a trip to the portland Zoo which is always a treat. There is also a big family barbeque planned for saturday. I wish I had one of those "Don't Touch the Baby Bump" Shirts.... because I KNOW my family is going to rub my belly Raw. (Dave... at this rate, it will be the NEXT child before I let anyone touch the belly!LOL)

Speaking of the belly. The baby is doing well. He moves around all the time, and is growing like crazy. I am 21 1/2 weeks along. YEAH! I passed the half way mark! LOL! And so far everything is going well. I am a little more round then I was a few weeks ago. I am sure there will be tons of horrible pictures taken of me on this trip. I will get one of the belly for you all. *I also got my first signs of stretch marks.... so THAT sucks!*

Anyway, I have to run for tonight guys. I have to get a nap in before we have to leave here at 2am to catch our 6am flight out of Jacksonville Florida. (It was $400 cheaper to drive 125 miles than to drive 60... *shrugs*)

IT'S A BOY!!!!!!

So we are having a boy. :) the Name will be:

Ryan David Gibler
My husband is BESIDE himself because he is getting his boy. I can't even begin to tell you guys how cute the ultrasound was. We could see him covering his face with his hands, and moving his mouth. He was a little difficult (Are we surprised?) and wouldn't let us get the pictures of his hands, feet, face, or spine that we needed... so I have to go back in 4-5 weeks for another ultrasound.



Funny... he is sitting with his head right under my belly button, facing forward, with his legs crossed in my pelvis. Just like a little buddha sitting in my belly. :)



I am having a baby shower in October. I will let you all know when. I am registered at Target and Walmart (Baby Depot too... but only for the bedroom set)... The theme of the room is going to be Turtles in Blue and Green.



OH! I got promoted too! :) So I am Officially SGT Gibler now! Who-hoo! Nothing like a pay raise when you are expecting a baby! :)
