Winding down, New Jobs, and Christmas...

Well... Dave's deployment is quickly coming to an end. I can't tell you exactly when he will be home.... but it is less than 60 days now. *SMILES* I am very excited, but I am rushing to finish everything in the house that I wanted to get done. I still have to tile the table, and finish the shelves, and then CLEAN the bedroom that has been highly neglected because of the work on the rest of the house. I am ordering a new Washer and Dryer.... cause mine are dead. So those should be here just after Christmas. (I'm not ordering them till the 15th)I would also like to get the spare room painted, but I am not sure it is going to happen before he comes home. But I have lots of days off coming up!

My new job is FANTASTIC! I have had plenty of time to do my homework, study for my promotion boards, and get my point up. My NCO is awesome, and she is a good cook too! (She made chili the other day!) All day long, I do fun and torturous things, like drawing blood and giving shots! The soldiers coming through are mostly in good spirits and glad to be home.

Christmas is coming fast too. I have finished my shopping, however, I have not gotten anything wrapped! I have to wrap tonight and mail things to Massachusetts and Arizona tonight. I am going to spend Christmas with Becky, Kim, Heather, and the kids. It should be fun. I was a little bummed out that I couldn't go home for christmas, but I am going home for a VERY SHORT 3 day weekend over New Years! BOSTON HERE I COME!!!!
