Down with Barbie... and her little Ken too!

I was watching Disocvery Health tonight, and this woman who is 44 years old, is getting ready to marry a 77 year old man. OK.... not the problem.
For their "PRe-Wedding" Gift, he is getting her... A TOTAL FACIAL OVERHAUL. He said "Honey, your beautiful, you just need to get mroe beautiful" And did she slap him up side his head and walk out? NO! She just smiled and said... "Ok honey... whatever you want" and then he proceeded to point out everything WRONG with her face. Her nose... her chin.... she needs a brow lift.... the list went on. So he must be rich, and she must want his..... Money. I can't see why any woman would put up with that. She said ehr Idol was barbie.... so I think she may be a little bit nuts.

This has nothing to do with Ken and Barbie, but I noticed that your husband is in Iraq. So is mine. Yes I know a lot of guys and girls are over there, but I ran across your blog and wanted to give you a shout out! My husband is a co. commander in the 80th Div. Here's to there safe return..and our sanity :)
One of two things are occuring with this lady.
1) Her self-esteem is shot to shit, and she'll do whatever anyone wants of her.
2) She knows that when her husband dies, she gets all the money anyways, so maybe she feels like looking good when becoming rich.
Her idol is Barbie. Who would want to drive around in a plastic corvette with no real privates? I think she's a bit loony :)
Monique, Here's to your Sanity with a husband who is a CO. My husband is getting ready to drop his OCS Packet cause he wants to become an officer. I know that it is better money... but I know the stress level triples. My Husband is a Medic with the 1/76 FA, 3ID. Should be home in a few months... And until then... who needs sanity?

YOu guys both crack me up! You should have seen that lady! It was SCARY. I don't think she looked any better after the surgery. NOr did she look more like barbie... I think she may be more that just a BIT looney!
a) Kudos to the soldiers mentioned here. Hope they're home safe, soon.
b) Dave and Jay crack me up on a regular basis. Be glad some of their friends didn't find this post!
c) That's just sad, sad. I hope she's after his money. Because after the crap he's pulling, he deserves to get ripped off!
